Abraham, Moses, and David were valiant believers, but compared to Jesus they were timid souls. Consider the human disappointments Jesus endured: rejected in his home town, harassed and persecuted by the religious leaders of his nation, misunderstood by his own family, betrayed with a kiss and abandoned by all his followers. Yet through it all Jesus never complained or rebelled against God; he trusted God even on the cross. Psalm 34 sets forth Jesus' pioneering discovery of God's faithfulness and delivering power. Thus Jesus was "delivered from all his fears" (v 4), "saved ... out of all his troubles" (v 6), "delivered out of all his afflictions" (v 19). Certainly Jesus is our primary teacher and example in trusting God. If David could teach his followers to trust in God, how much more Jesus. As we see the steadfast faith of our Lord through weariness, disappointment, rejection, and even death on a cross, we cannot but be encouraged to believe that God can deliver us through our small trials. That is why we should run the race set before us looking unto Jesus.

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between ...

http://maxioms.com/maxiom/3011

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; . . .

Right now, it is it is almost.. it is almost uhh, IMPOSSIBLE for you not to see how strong rap ...

http://maxioms.com/maxiom/52968

Right now, it is it is almost.. it is almost uhh, IMPOSSIBLE for you not to see how strong rap has gottenY'knowhatI'msayin, it's it's like umm..our our brothers and sisters, our youths, and some of our adultstheir ear is PINNED to rap music right nowAnd if you really wanna get our message outand really wanna start teachin, we need to start doin thatWe we really need to start usin, our methods, y'knowhatI'msayin? The Last Poets did it with poetryAnd uhh, and and.. even in our historyfrom a ancient Afl- African civilizationpoets went from village to villageAnd that's how, stories and messages and lessons were taughtY'knowhatI'mssayin, and so like you say, history repeats itselfAnd so.. it it was, it was.. at it was, y'know obviousIt was, pick it up, y'know?Bein the race that we are, bein the strong race that we areWe picked it up, we picked up those positive, those positive vibesand we started rappin and soI think it is, it's a very good medium too

But Thy good word informs my soul How I may climb to heaven.

http://maxioms.com/maxiom/54919

But Thy good word informs my soul How I may climb to heaven.

The best-laid schemes o' mice an 'menGang aft agley. - "To A Mouse".

http://maxioms.com/maxiom/4013

The best-laid schemes o' mice an 'menGang aft agley. - "To A Mouse".

You have to credit my teammates. That is good, as far as it goes... But better still is the advice to study the Bible objectively, ... without regard, first of all, to our own subjective needs. Let the great passages fix themselves in our memory. Let them stay there permanently, like bright beacons, launching their powerful shafts of light upon life's problems -- our own and everyone's -- as they illumine, now one, now another dark area of human life. Following such a method, we discover that the Bible does "speak to our condition" and meet our needs, not just occasionally or when some emergency arises, but continually.

I know coach's record.
