My goodness did you know that my Uncle Jack's name is Sam, Uncle Harry's name
is Reuben, and Uncle Al's name is Elia? BOY! Do I love this genealogy stuff!
Additionally my grandfather Max Czusik took the last name Rich, which is the
last name his in-laws took. So he became Max Rich, however I had a great uncle
named Max Rich who had a daughter Sarah Rich, which is of course, the name of my
grandfather's wife; and unfortunately my great uncle's wife Mary Rich had a
sister-in-law Mary Rich, yes a different great aunt, but she at least married
Morris Lipman and became Mary Lipman. BOY! Do I love this genealogy stuff!
Needless to say I am looking for people since my newfound hobby has become an
obsession.
Arnie Levine Researched: he SCHECTMAN family (SCHECKHTMAN,
SHEKHTMAN, SHECHTMAN, SHECKMAN) from Ksaverov and Sarnovich, [All in the UKRAINE
(RUSSIA), currently the **Volhynia Gubernia and Zhitomirskaya Oblast]. The
SCHECKHTMAN family took the
name of RICH. They came to the USA circa 1890-1915 and settled in Chicago,
Illinois.
